ABOUT ANNA

Hello, My name is Anna McQuaid and I am a certified Body Control Pilates teacher. I competed my training in 2015 and have continued to expand my knowledge through specialist training in areas such as pre & post natal Pilates, Lower Back Pain and Pilates small equipment.

Having been an accomplished sports player in my youth, I took to running in my twenties and loved it. Instead of listening to various niggling pains or looking further into the cause of a recurring ankle injury, I carried on oblivious until my body literally fell apart aged 28 - My knees, hips, back and neck all gave up on me in their own ways! 

It was only when waiting for various hip and back operations in 2010, that I found a fantastic physiotherapist and discovered Pilates. Thankfully, due to hard work, I managed to avoid having any operations at all and I have since gained strength, flexibility and fitness through Pilates. More importantly I have gained an understanding of my body and I really want to share what I have learnt with others.
